The first one represents the world debut of the updated RC, which was previewed online at the end of August. It has revised styling on the outside, new colors, wheels and different trim on the inside. Lexus has also tuned the suspension and powertrain of the 2019 RC, but full details will be released only during the automotive event. Toyota’s luxury brand will also display the new LC Limited Edition in Paris, which is finished in Naples Yellow, over a yellow, white and black cabin. Another highlight at the automaker’s stand in Paris will be the seventh generation ES. The luxury saloon will take on the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Audi A6, BMW 5-Series and Jaguar XF with “a dynamic exterior design and engaging driving experience”, according to the car firm. Finally, Lexus will open the order books for the UX compact crossover during the event. The vehicle is seen as “a gateway model” for the brand to reach its target of 100,000 annual sales in Europe by 2020, and embraces alternative powertrains, as consumers are starting to ditch diesel engines. The 2018 Paris Auto Show will kick off with the Press Days on October 2 and will open to the public two days later.
